"If you cannot defend then you will will be in trouble. Simple as that"

That's a fact & anyone dismissing relegation based on our form , set up & current team selections & tactics is a fool.

Unless Billic gets back to basics soon, makes some big & bold correct decisions regarding team personnel & tactics then the dye is cast for the season.

Defensively & yes, that includes a DM & defending as a team, not just the back four, then he'll be gone in the New Year if not before.

We're a complete mess defensively & that's down to the manager & it's not new & it's been that way for about the last 10 games of last season as well as those this. It's not a new thing & now been ongoing for months now.

Because of the competitive nature of this league now there are no games that you can target to use to get things right, if you aint at it against anyone you will most likely get beat, so the only way they can sort out any shortcomings is on the training ground and hope we then tke that into the next game.

FFS we have played and lost to Chelsea and City who one of them will win the Premiership. Yes yesterday was disappointing remember this time last season we shipped four at home to Bournemouth. Let's hope Watford is last year's Bournemouth a bad day at the office. If we are still in this position in the New Year that's the time to start to worry.

Feghouli will make a big difference. We'll be able to counter attack and rip open even the top teams, like a can of sardines, with all our pace.

Been going 26 years but this league is no longer as it was even 5 years ago. Every team has decent players capable of winning games. Yes it's very early days and some were talking about relegation after the Bournemouth game last season. But anyone who thinks we are too go to be down the bottom of the table needs to wake up. Were in not for the sending off against Bournemouth this season we could have drawn that game or even lost it. I'm hoping that like last season Bilic get's it right and we put in a much better performance next week. We do always look like scoring goals but Bilic really needs to sort us out as a defensive unit.

"Feghouli will make a big difference"

Really?

How exactly is he going to stop the goals going in then ?

It's not just this season, but the quarter of last season as well.

get a grip...we are 17th and bar a Sunderland win tomorrow we will stay out of the bottom 3.

even with our ropey CBs, we are far too good to go down. not sure we'll get near the top four this year but top half will be comfortable

Re: West Ham United Relegation Thread
The only person that needs to get a grip & get real & cut out all the media bullshit about "street football" is Billic.

This thread is ridiculous after 4 matches, however the club need to start performing soon before it ends up in a relegation dogfight. No team is too good to go down so we need start picking up wins asap

IĀ“m afraid this is a real possibility if Bilic will be here for the whole season. LetĀ“s hope they will sack him soon enough

Re: West Ham United Relegation Thread
Staying up is actually piss easy, you only need 35 - 38 points. Apart from the odd exception, like us in 2002, the teams that go down are fucking shit, we are definitely not that. Also, the reason that the vast majority of teams go down is because they can't score goals, and we have plenty of goals in the team. It's 'almost' impossible for us to go down.

I'm well up for a relegation. Gets rid of all the newbie supporters, proper Saturday and Tuesday games and some good away grounds to visit.

What's not to like?
